Hi all, my name is Sarah. I been living in Toronto for over 10 years. My mother tongue is English. I have recently completed my Bachelor's degree in Life Science from the University of Toronto. I am currently continuing on my studies at University of Leicester for Master's degree in Forensic Science and Criminology Justice.
I draw, play the piano and participate in basketball, volleyball and martial arts on my spare time. I have been a tutor since primary school. I have tutored kindergarten and primary school students in various subject. In high school I was appointed as one of the tutors in the tutor club. I mainly tutored Biology, Chemistry, English, Maths and Physical Education.
I am currently a freelance tutor for younger kids, age around 5 years old. I mainly tutor Math and English.
I know how to get students to first like what they need to learn, then discover the best method for each student as everyone learns in a different way. Then I would customized worksheets or activities accordingly. I don't like to give students the answer. I always ensure that students understand the concepts before moving on the next lesson.
